Spring Salads #42

March 11, 2011
Spring. Spring> Spring! Robins, Budding leaves on trees, warmer weather!

I have a new category to add to the above list.

Spring Salads:

One of Divadish's favorites is Potato Salad.

My family recipe is unique and very tasty, the first bite will be a small explosion of Yum in your mouth.
Potato salad is one of those first salads of the season you start to crave when the weather gets above 40+

It is like Mother Nature, should we put on a jacket, wear shorts, or a T'shirt today, you know you want to do all (3) but will opt for what is clean and available.
So if you are looking for tasty, not sweet, not overly mayonaised potato salald, then pick up your Celly, and dial the digits @ 612-859-3270.
I sell this by the quart @ $6.00 each.

Let the partying begin Order yours today!

Food Journal #39

March 7, 2011
Having  a Food Journal is very helpful. It is our Diary to our eating habits.
If we write down what we eat everyday and for each meal and snack we are less likely to over-eat!

It has been proven scientifically, and of course I think we all need visuals to understand what we are doing.

When you journal you see patterns of what you are doing and not doing.
Meaning:
When you are eating
What
Portion size
If  it was satisfying
Did you exercise before or after
Snacks
Cravings
Bedtimes

Now you c...

Binge Eating #37

March 6, 2011
Eating on the run, skipping meals, fast  food, cravings.

These bad habits lead us all to Binge Eating. We are never properly sitting down long enough for our food to register with our brains.

We are also eatting foods loaded with Salt, Sugar, and Processed.
Then we keep up the hamster routine when we keep up the chasing, the running, the skipping, and the bad choices of foods.

Our bodies are pretty complicated machines, and complex.
Where it is accepting of our bad choices, & habits...

It is always difficult to measure our  own progress. We really do not want to be truthful with ourselves.
Or maybe we are not good at it either!

Either way it will cost Us, because of it.

Here are my suggestions:

Jump's

Spring is forever eternal. Who said that? I don't remember , do any of you? If so please blog back and tell me too!

For now we will just know that it does. Otherwise how would we all get through such a very long Winter.
I start thinking of Spring in January, when I get my first glimpse of my seed catalogs, the Robins coming back,
the birds in the trees making more noise, or any temperature above 10' degrees!

Then there is the first Spring flower, Johnny Jump Up's... They are the...
