What I have to Be Thankful for!

November 18, 2012
                                             MY THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION

Growing up out East in a Greek & Italian family their was always two things involved, Noise, and plenty of good food!

We weren't The Norman Rockwell family picture, but we were a typical ethnic family.
Daddy sat at the head of the table barking orders, Ma was at the other end telling Us to eat.
It was our tradition and I miss it very much. My Dad pass over 3+ years ago now, and my Ma is in a Care facility.

No more Noise, laughter about our stupid stuff, and No fighting over who got the last of the Blue Cheese spread and bread!
I was not quite aware of what I was experiencing when I was little and being engrossed in all of that chaos I called my Family, but I am well aware of it now as my family shrinks because of age and remember the good times, the laughter, the stupid stuff, that is just some of what I am Thankful for.

2012 was a very difficult and exciting new year for my small but Loving family.

I finally Sold my town home and purchased a single family home in The East-Side neighborhood. What a change of demographics, I am So much Happier here, I am more involved in my Community here, I Tutor at my Local school, and try to make difference in someone else's Life.

Part two of what I am thankful for is my Family, we may be small but we are Mighty, my daughter and husband and granddaughter Sold there home in Bloomington and bought another home less than (2) miles from mine, now I call that Divine intervention.

So that is my bits and pieces of what I am Thankful for what will you be thankful for this year when you sit down with your families? no matter what it is take a moment to look what and who Graces your home and your table and makes all of us Thankful on Thanksgiving Day and through the following years together.

Wishing everyone a Happy-Thanksgiving
