Italian Sausage SoupRecipes are just guidelines. I have said that comment to people for years. Yes they are necessary when you start a new recipe and you liked how that turned out. But, and here it comes you make it again and say to yourself I wonder if I added this what that would do or how it would taste.
That is how recipes get changed or tweaked like I like to say. I am always tweaking, twisting, and improving on my recipes all the time.
Here is one perfect example of just that.
Base is a Marinara Sauce with Spicy Italian Sausage .
Added more of the following:
Garlic
Olive oil
Cayenne Pepper
Brown Sugar
Sea Salt
Sweet Basil
Roasted Red Pepper flakes
Vegetables added:
Hunt's chunked tomatoes
Hunt's tomato sauce
1.5 cups of fresh green beans
(1) can of Black beans
(1) can of mild Chili Beans
Put everything in a crocked pot on high for (4) hours then to simmer for (2) hours till all the flavors are blended together.
This recipe makes (6) quarts of deliciousness!
I suggest serving this Italian Sausage Soup with sliced Greek Feta on top plus grated Parmesan Cheese.
Have crusty homemade bread for dipping of course slathered with Sweet cream butter on it.
Serve a bowl of this hearty organic soup with a Greek or Italian salad, and you have a complete meal for you and your family.
Enjoy and Healthy Eating
