We all should eat better, take the time to eat slower, not eat things from a microwave package, or frozen sections of our favorite grocery stores.

Why? because most of these products contain hidden calories, salt, sugars and preservatives.

Divadish's Original Recipe Chicken Potpie!


I remember when Marie Calender's Frozen potpie's use to me my family's go to when no one wanted to take the time to make it from scratch.Well all that has changed and so has Marie's too. Along with it's home made taste.

So if I want Chicken Pot Pie I make it my way, with a creamy chicken gravy, fresh green beans, corn, peas, and sometime carrots. Loaded with chunks of organic chicken and a buttery crust that makes you want to put on your stretch pants ...

                                       Cranraisen Chicken Salad Sandwich

Divadish kitchens presents Lunch for one:

Organic white chicken breast meat app. 6 ozs.
1/4 -1/3 cup of Mayonnaise
Dash of Sea Salt
Small bunch of Craisins
Dash of Caraway seed
*Optional slivered almonds small amount

** Mix all above ingredients together serve this delicious chicken salad on any type of toasted bagel, mine is a Cinnamon Raisin with a light amount of butter on it first.

Southern Coffee Cake

Apricot Coffee Cake
 What could be better than a good cup of coffee with a moist absolutely Heavenly piece of coffee cake beside your cup!?

 The above picture was one such recipe I tweaked to my fancy.

I took a basic coffee cake recipe added a 1/4 cup apricot preserves and a 1/4 tsp nutmeg, a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of ginger. 

Now you can serve this warm with a drizzle of sunflower honey over the top of it, or with whip cream, or vanilla bean ice cream, any of those fine choices will do and...

Seared Chicken!

Cooking is my passion, my Zest for Life, and staying healthy.
The above picture is one such meal I fixed for dinner with friends.

It is hormone free chicken seared with lime juice & olive oil.
Seasonings used were garlic, oregano, thyme, sea salt.
Cooked in a # 8 size heavy aluminum frying pan till internal temperature is 165' app. 20 minutes.

This dish was served with garlic & dill buttered carrots, and crusty bread which is not pictured.

Turkey Dinner

Traditional Turkey @ Divadish Kitchens:

First thing is get a all organic bird.
Second do not get the self -basted or juiced brands
This will save you money and calories, but especially TASTE!!!
Third take out gizzards bag, and put them in a pot half full of chicken broth and Kitchen Bouquet.
Fourth: Add onion flakes, Garlic powder, Sea Salt, Sweet Basil and simmer.
Fifth: Rinse out bird thoroughly, drain, and put in oval roaster.
Add Semi -Sweet White Wine to Gravy pan, app. 1/2 cup.

Artifical Ingrediants, Not @ Divadish!

While stores keep adding new items for our Christmas feast, have you ever looked @ the ingredients list!?
OMG,,, everything is hydrogenated oils, emulsifiers, salt, sugars. Not only is all this so BAD for You, it is also not very tasty, nor does it have any Nutritional Value.

From my butter spreads, to my main entree's you will not have anything added that is Artificial.
 It might add shelf Life, but it does not add Human -Shelf- Life!

I do not believe in it for myself or my clients. My Philosop...
